Weekend in the country
After a week of overcast skies, MIA sunshine and general winter-ish-ness, we were elated when the weather app told us the weekend would be HOT and sunny!
This guy just showed up out of nowhere! Wish I could've gotten a better picture, but I wasn't keen on getting much closer!
Our last two excursions were to beaches, so we thought a weekend in the country might be nice.
Most memorable sighting: huge lizard that we didn't want to get too close to for fear we'd lose a finger!
Clear skies and temps in high 80's F...this is my kind of winter!
The water was still too cold to swim in, but looked lovely
I thought this turned out quite well, though I say so myself!
