Weekend in the Country

We drove out to Hotel Botanique for the long weekend. It's about a three hour drive from our apartment in Sao Paulo in a place called Bairro dos Mellos, and it's a gorgeous! The hotel is surrounded by subtropical forests, hills, and valleys. Once you arrive at the hotel, there is no use of cars on the property, only golf carts, biking, or walking. It is hard to believe a place like this exists so close to the city!

I already want to go back -- this is my favorite place we've visited so far!
