Santiago for the Feast of Trumpets

Image
We spent a long weekend in Santiago hosted by the lovely Nestor & Susy (si usted está leyendo esto, muchimas muuchimas gracias por todo!!) and mustn't leave out the dog Luna:  The first night, a couple of Susy & Nestor's friends came over - Varinia & Franco, who will be getting married in a couple of weeks. While she was cooking, I took notes:  Delicious! Susy, Nestor, Varinia, Franco, and Glen The next night we went to a restaurant called Ambrosia, I promise this post won't be only about food.... Pre-dinner photo Ceviche Artichoke (and Glen) Veal  During-dinner photos The day before Trumpets, we explored some of the city with our hosts:  Cool old house  I know...more food...
